Blog on Religion Affecting Politics

Subject

Religion Affecting Politics

Description

This blog focuses on how religion affects politics in the modern day. This blog went through different locations throughout the world and how each has a strong religious background that affects modern policies and laws coming into play. The main focus of this blog is to show how religion and politics run parallel to one another even when many countries have a declared separation of state and church. The political decisions of citizens among many countries are almost entirely based off their religion denomination. Many of these citizens vote in people into power just because they are Christian, Jewish, Islamic, etc. and base their entire moral vocabulary off of the basis that they are sharing ideals with a religion.
Through the different areas of the world there are different influences that religion puts on the inhabitants, but there is one similarity and that is religion has been a part of the modern world and forever will be.
I hope that this blog helps open up readers’ eyes about how interlaced the “separated” religion and politics discussion really is.
