Essay on the Validity of the Bible

     By Ashton Evans, Spring 2016

This essay seeks to find evidence supporting the Christian belief that the Bible is entirely truthful.  Academic sources were used to find information on the topic.  These included mainly articles and journal entries from the Florida State University library.  The evidence found came from historical archaeological findings, an overview of modern culture and the Bible, and a perspective of the Bible’s influence on politics.

Overall, I found it difficult to find academic sources on the topic but managed to find some credible authors.  The Bible is a unique book that many people believe to be fictitious.  In the end, it is determined in the essay that the validity of the Bible is ultimately up to the reader to decide as no cold hard evidence could be found.
