Father Kirby ordered his parishioners to plan and celebrate this holiday in honor of the patron saint of his home land. On march 17th 1973 200 parishioners joined together for Good Shepherd first annual Saint Patrick's Day celebration. The festivities included dancing, eating, and simply letting loose.
